Greetings!
A HUGE thanks to all who participated in the BHBH fun run. With your help we raised $15,000.00!!

Words cannot express our gratitude! Many of you helped gather pledges and donations to benefit Hearts of Hope and many of you showed up to run in honor or memory of a loved one. We are blessed to have such a great group of heart families and friends continue to platform our Michigan based organization. We take pride in the fact that Hearts of Hope is completely non-profit which means 100% of your donations will go directly toward helping local families that have been affected by congenital heart defects. We absolutely could not have done this without the support of you, our "heart family". Again, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you! We look forward to next years race! For photos of the race click HERE.Race Results click HERE. |

| Save a Heart Celebration!
The 18th annual Save A Heart Celebration will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 12, 2010.
Featuring more than 100 wines will be available for tasting from around the world, along with food samples from Ann Arbor area restaurants. The event will also feature a silent auction and live music. The silent auction will include items such as a Disney World vacation, jewelry, children's items, Michigan and other sports memorabilia.
The proceeds from this event will be divided between programs in the Congenital Heart Center and the construction fund for the Congenital Heart Center in the new C.S. Mott Children's Hospital. These funds will allow them to continue to assist their patients and families in a multitude of ways, including travel and lodging expenses for patients and their families. In a time when more medical costs are being shifted to the patient, one of our goals is to relieve the families' financial burdens during an already stressful time.
Tickets are $60 per person, $75 at the door. You can print an order form or contact Stephanie Cloutier, email slclout@umich.edu at 734-936-9134.

| HELP US HELP OTHERS... |
There are many events happening within our community. If you know of an upcoming event, please contact us with any information about the event. We also ask that you update us if your home address, e-mail or phone number has changed so that we may keep you informed of upcoming events.
Lastly, you are invited to share your child's story on our website which provides "hope" to new families beginning their heart journey. If you would like to help us offer this "hope" or if you have an existing CarePage set up and would like to share your child's CarePage, please e-mail us with your CarePage name or bio and photo to storiesofhope@heartsofhopemi.org.
We appreciate your support. Together we will make a difference in the lives of those affected by congenital heart defects.
Sincerely,
