WednesdayFebruary 11th, 20094:00 - 8:00pm.Join this "Pump It Up!" Party to benefit the Cardiology Department Ticker Club of DMC Children's Hospital of Michigan! The event is Wednesday, February 11, 2009 from 4:00 - 8:00pm at Pump It Up of St. Clair Shores. You will be treated to 2 Giant Arenas filled with a wide variety of safe, challenging and brightly colored inflatable structures that stand almost two stories high. AWARENESS WEEK INTENDS TO GIVE VALENTINE'S WEEK A NEW TAKE ON LOVE AND LIFE!
An
international coalition of families, individuals, non-profit
organizations, support groups, and health professionals
participate in a campaign to increase public awareness
of Congenital Heart Defects and Childhood Heart Disease.

To recognize February 7th - 14th as CHD Awareness
Week in Michigan, a state proclamation has been signed by Governor Jennifer Granholm.
THIS PROCLAMATION WILL BE DISPLAYED AT OUR FEBRUARY 21st EVENT!!

We welcome all families affected by congenital heart defects as well as the professionals who work with them. Our afternoon will be filled with activities, clowns, games, and special guest appearances by some much loved characters. Lunch and beverages will be provided. This is a terrific opportunity to meet other families, share stories, offer support, spread hope and create friendships that will last a lifetime. . Thanks to all the generous donations made over the year, Hearts of Hope is happy to be able to provide this celebration FREE to all our families and friends. However, we will have a donation box set up at the community center where monetary donations will be accepted for our care package program.

Heart of a Child is a non-profit organization benefiting children with
congenital heart defects through cardiovascular research at Children's
Hospital of Michigan. Over the past 2 years, The Heart of a Child has
donated $57,000 towards research. . Why not spend your Valentines Day dinner honoring children born with congenital heart defects!
