What is Community Day?
 Community Day is an annual fundraising event designed to provide 501c3 nonprofit organizations with a fun and easy way to raise money.

When is it?
 Community Day takes place on Saturday, November 10th, 2007, at a family of stores:
 Bon-Ton, Elder-Beerman, Bergner's, Boston Store, Carson's, Herberger's, Younkers, and Parisian. Stores open early at 6 a.m., and stay open late.

How does it work?
 Hearts of Hope can sell coupon booklets to the public for $5 each, keeping 100% of the proceeds! Each booklet contains coupons valid during the Community Day One Day Sale on November 10th.

What w
ill customers receive in each booklet?
 With each $5 coupon booklet purchase, customers receive:
    ·      One $10 coupon, good toward any item of $10 or more (exclusions apply)
     ·      Eight additional coupons, each good for up to 20% off one item (exclusions apply)-in addition to the special One Day Sale prices.

How do we get booklets?
 Please
contact us if you would like to buy or sell booklets prior to the One Communtiy Day Sale or if you are interested in setting up a Hearts of Hope table at one of the participating stores!!

Where do we sell booklets?
 You can sell booklets on your own, and in stores before and during the event. Please contact us if you are interested in setting up a Hearts of Hope table at one of your local partcipating stores!!

There is NO minimum number of booklets to sell?
 
Are there any selling guidelines we must follow when selling booklets in-store?
Yes, here are the basic guidelines when selling in the stores:
·     All members must be age 16 or older, or accompanied by an adult.
     ·     Dress appropriately-no jeans, sweatpants or shorts. School/organization uniforms or t-shirts may be worn.
    ·     No eating on the selling floor or at selling tables.
 ·     Cell phone use on the selling floor or at selling tables is prohibited.
      ·     Always act professional and treat customers in a friendly manner.
      ·     Organization members must report to their assigned stores at the beginning of their scheduled shifts.
    ·     Each member must sign in with the store manager or Community Day Event Coordinator at the Gift Wrap desk at the start of the shift and sign out upon completion of shift.
     ·     Organization contact is required to report weekly booklet selling results.

Save a Heart
Celebration!


The 15th annual
Save A Heart Celebration
 will be held on November 9, 2007 with all proceeds to benefit the Michigan Congenital Heart Center. The celebration will be held at 6:30 pm on Friday November 9, 2007, at the Michigan League in Ann Arbor. Save A Heart hopes to provide sufficient funds to meet the needs of all the families of children with heart disease and provide further educational and research opportunities for the health care providers at the Michigan Congenital Heart Center.

 The event will feature 150 wines available for tasting from around the world, along with food samples from Ann Arbor area restaurants as well as a silent auction and live jazz performed by Community High musicians. The silent auction will include items such as Disney World Vacation, jewelry, children's items, Michigan memorabilia and much more.

 Tickets are $60 per person. You can print an
