Success Leads to Additional Recruitment for Kindergarten Readiness Program
Preliminary results from Camp Fire's five-year Kindergarten Readiness pilot show participating children, on average, are performing significantly better in many categories than their peers.
Kindergarten Readiness is a project developed and provided by Camp Fire USA First Texas Council. Its purpose is to improve the learning environment of children birth to age five in child care centers and family child care homes to enable the children to acquire the skills necessary for success in school.
The collaborative program works with child care centers and family day homes in low-income communities to prepare young children for school.
Due to this success, Kindergarten Readiness is recruiting additional child care providers to participate.
If you are or know of a child care provider in the 76103, 76104, 76105, 76106, 76107, 76111, 76112, 76115, 76116, 76119, 76120, 76164 zip codes, Camp Fire would welcome the opportunity to speak with you.
