Camp Fire USA First Texas Council Leadership Bulletin
Providing information to our leadership volunteers

Welcome to the July 2009 issue of Camp Fire USA's Leadership Bulletin.  This publication is our way of keeping you informed about council programs that fulfill the Camp Fire USA vision. Camp Fire USA helps youth by:
  • Preparing them for starting school;
  • Building caring, confident leaders;
  • Developing stewards of the outdoors; and
  • Creating involvement with their families and other adults
We continue to be aggressive in efforts to increase participation in fee-for-service programs and to expand financial self-support efforts - "finding the angle into the wind" that will carry us forward and on-course in this era of rapid change.  The participation of volunteers on strategic plan task forces and on council committees is incredibly helpful in anticipating new needs and identifying new approaches to challenges.

Thank you for working to ensure that Camp Fire USA is here to help today's kids become tomorrow's leaders.

President/CEO
