A Note from David... |
I want to remind you that we are still responding as a church to the crises in Haiti. This past Sunday we collected around $3000 for Haiti relief. We are still accepting money for this effort so please consider giving this week if you have not already. We are sending all of the funds to Haiti through Samaritan's Purse . Samaritan's Purse is a trusted organization with which we have a relationship. They were one of the first groups on the ground in Haiti following the earthquake. Check out their website to see what they are doing with the money they receive.
I also want to ask that you pray for Julia Cruz. Julia is a missionary with Uncharted Waters Sports Ministries . She has been working with a couple of groups in Haiti for the last year. Julia is currently working on a trip to Haiti in March. Please pray for those details to work out and for wisdom and direction as she seeks to minister there.
I hope you can be in worship this coming Sunday; it's going to be an exciting time. Pastor Charles, from The Nairobi Gospel Centre in Kenya, Africa, will be worshipping with us and bringing the message. I encourage everyone to be in worship to hear and meet Pastor Charles. He is an amazing person and leader.
We will also be having a church-wide lunch following the service. If you would like to help by bringing food or with the setup or cleanup, please Email Christina Todd.
See you Sunday.
