Friend
Bright greetings at this dark time of year! Today's
New Moon is in Sagittarius, the most optimistic of
signs, and the one most concerned with international
relations - the perfect time to pray for Peace on
Earth! This New Moon occurred close to Pluto's
position in the zodiac, highlighting this (dwarf) planet
in charge of transformation. The coming four weeks
are an excellent time to get rid of old stuff and clear
the decks for something fresh to come into your life.

Do you have your 2007 Janet's Plan-its yet?
|
|
Order now and you'll have it before New Years!
There is no astrology calendar on the market today
easier to use for the non-astrologer than Janet's Plan-
its. And the 2007 version makes it even simpler by
rating each and every day on a scale of 1 to 5, with
5 being the best. At a glance, you can select good
dates for your important activities and avoid the not-
so-good times. Using Janet's Plan-its is like having
your own astrologer on call 24/7.
Once you have your 2007 Janet's Plan-its, you
can learn how to use it in conjunction with your
personal chart in a conference call class on the
last Saturday of 2006. You'll receive study
materials in advance and then listen to Janet's
lecture with a chance to ask questions and hear the
answers to questions posed by fellow participants.

Do you know why we celebrate Jesus' birth on
December 25th? We don't really know exactly when
Jesus was born, but it was common for religions to
join in the festivities of other religions of their day.
The "pagans" of the Roman times already celebrated
Saturnalia, the holiday of the winter solstice. (Saturn
rules the sign Capricorn, which begins the winter
season.) At the solstice, the sun (sol) appears to
stick (stic) at the same position in its rising and
setting for three days before it begins moving in the
opposite direction. Thus on the 3rd day after the
solstice (usually Dec. 22, + 3 = Dec. 25), the sun
ends the period of its shortest day and starts to
head back toward the longest day, marking the "birth
of the sun."
Whatever your spiritual beliefs, brighten your days
and long nights at this changing of the seasons.
Best wishes to you and yours for Good Yule and a
2007 that's a slice of heaven!
Yours in the Stars,
