The bake sale is to benefit the Yehuda Mem. Bikur Cholim, which sets up rooms (near the hospitals) for frum people, who have family members in the hospital. B'ezras Hashem, I will be giving my Chodesh Elul Shiur at the bake sale (there will be no other monthly shiur at my home this month). The Shiur will take place, Iy'H, on SUNDAY, SEPT. 25 AT 8p.m. Topic: "What does it mean to be a Daf Aleph Jew? We address the component of Tefilah when we say Tehilim for those who are ill on our Aviva Aryeh, AH Tehilim list. We address the component of Teshuvah, when we reach out to others in positiive way that is Mikadesh Shame Shamayim, that sanctifies G-d's name, and brings unity to our fellow Jews. We repent for Sinat Chinam/baseless hatred that destroyed our temple. We do this as part of our Sarit Marton, AH Ahavas Yisrael Initiative.
