Greetings!
I'm thrilled to introduce you to a wonderful site for writers! If you love writing contests and critique groups, this site is for you.
Before I started WOW!, I was a regular participant in FanStory.com--an interactive site that allows you to post your stories, enter contests, and receive feedback. As soon as you post a story, essay, or poem, you start getting reviews and critiques from the community. With the help of FanStory members, I quickly learned where I needed improvement, and began to polish my short stories. Now, as a published writer and entrepreneur, I want to pass this wonderful resource along to you.
The site is super easy to navigate and their writing contests are a lot of fun! Some of them come with a prompt, either a starting sentence or a picture, that will definitely help you beat writer's block. Just check out the multitude of contests they have going below.
Check out the Faith Non-Fiction Contest, deadline: June 25th! $100 cash prize; free entry for members. Besides non-fiction, they also have poetry contests, short story contests, and our favorite, flash fiction. All contests are free to enter as a FanStory member.
Enjoy! And write-on!

Finding this site three years ago was a blessing to me. I am becoming the writer I wanted to be because of what I've learned at Fanstory. I have had stories published (the publishers came to me), won the state contest last year in the short story category, and have been asked to speak at writers groups. Three years ago I couldn't write a grocery list. - More Testimonials
