December 5, 2009
Toys have
been coming in at a steady pace and have been sorted by age group. At this time we have filled the Infant- 2 year age group. In order to provide two
toys for each child we still need
16 in the 3-5 year group
69 in the 6-9 year group
89 in the 10-12 year group
Walmart and
Target seem to be in competition for shopping $'s this year and are having
better early prices than in the past.
Walgreens still has buy two at $6.99 and get one free. We have one more week to collect toys before
we shop to fill in the gaps.
We are enlisting volunteers to help on Friday Dec. 4th
from 1:00-4:00pm. to set up all areas and Saturday Dec.5th from
8:30am until noon to man the stations.
Please email Connie Slater at cobaam@sbc.global.net if you are interested in volunteering in one of the following ways:
Room Coordinator
Room Helper
Registration
Escort
Gift Wrapping
Stocking Stuffer
Shopper (during the 1st
week in Dec.)
Thanks to
you all for helping make this a meaningful time for our Food Pantry patrons.
