Are you a fan of Top Chef? This year marks the 5th Annual Culinary Challenge competition at the Beaujolais and Beyond Festival, which gives chefs the opportunity to show off their talents by preparing dishes that pair well with the Beaujolais Nouveau.
Our guest judges this year are: Jennifer Brauns from Indulge in Denver, Amanda Faison from 5280, Jackson Lamb from Metropolitan State College, and Lori Midson from Westword. And you! Euro Networking - October 5, 2011
Join the French-American, German-American and Swedish-American Chambers of Commerce and the World Trade Center for an evening of international networking!

FACC Welcomes New Board Member - Omar Soubra 
Director, Marketing Communications and Techno-Marketing Innovation Manager, Trimble Navigation
Omar, a French native, has been developing a team of professional marketers in different parts of the world. He has been with Trimble Navigation, the leader in positioning solutions, for over 13 years, in various roles, from European Sales manager, to Portfolio/Market Manager. Omar holds an engineering degree in LASER and Photonics from Polytech Orléans, France, a Bachelor in Engineering, Electronics and Electricity from the University of Dundee, Scotland and a Master of Art in Sales and Marketing from the Chamber of Commerce of Versailles/Yvelines, France. Join us as we celebrate the release of the Beaujolais Nouveau with an evening of gourmet food prepared by local Chefs, French wines and spectacular entertainment!
The event features a unique culinary challenge for Colorado chefs who showcase their cuisine by creating French-inspired dishes paired with Beaujolais Nouveau wine. The competition is judged not only by professionals in the community during a pre-event competition, but also by guests at the event for a People's Choice Award. In addition to the food, there is an abundance of French wines - close to 40 varieties in years past!
Enjoy live entertainment! Marvel at the acrobats, dancers, and aerialists as they combine the magic of circus with theatre, illusion, and special effects to create a truly spectacular show!
An exciting raffle rounds out the Festival. On 20 and 21 October 2011 tomorrow's leading companies will gather in Grenoble, France, to present more than 150 innovative technologies.
For its third edition, Grenoble Innovation Fair is broadening its scope to cover more new or emerging innovations in Europe, welcoming 150 start-ups and laboratories in an exhibition space dedicated to networking with industry and technology demonstrations.
This international event, the only one of its kind in France, is being staged by three Grenoble organizations which have pooled their resources to bring together for two days new ventures with high-growth potential, research laboratories, industrial firms and innovative SMEs.
The fair is expecting more than 1,500 participants, eager to extend their innovation networks, identify opportunities for new partnerships and discover unsuspected sources of innovation.

French Solar Energy Experts on U.S Tour from Sept 26-30
Last week, a group of 10 French experts working in the field of solar energy was in Washington DC, Denver and San Francisco to meet with their American counterparts to exchange on the topic of photovoltaic systems, one of the four sources of solar energy. Through exchanges with renowned American scientists, entrepreneurs and American officials, this group hopes to learn from American scientific research to foster innovation at home and promote American and foreign partnership opportunities. While in the Silicon Valley area, the group had the opportunity to meet with the business community and exchange best practices to help the growth of the photovoltaic industry in France.
