| FACC Expands to Northern Colorado |
Welcome Yann!
As the FACC continues to grow and thrive, we have decided to expand our organization to the Northern Colorado region to better serve our members, partners, the French-American business community and to position the FACC as as the only international bi-lateral organization in Northern Colorado. Yann Ropars joins the FACC team as our Director for Northern Colorado. Based in Fort Collins, he will be responsible for developing membership, programs and for growing the presence of the French American Business community in the Northern Colorado region. He will serve as a catalyst in identifying opportunities for new members and CORA Partners. "Alignment of stars... Mais Oui!! Like most expats, my ties to my homeland are strong and any opportunities to further relationships between France and Colorado have always been my desire. Northern Colorado, where I live, work and play and Fort Collins are quickly becoming a hub for Cleantech with projects like FortZED, the Colorado Clean Energy Cluster and the recently launched Innosphere Incubator . When Virginie and Bob approached me to see if I knew someone who could be the 'beach head' for FACC/CORA in Northern Colorado, I knew this was the right time and very synergistic with Extanz.com, the New Media Agency I run (my day job!). I am thrilled to be part of the team and look forward to strengthening the ties between France, Denver and Northern Colorado. My wife and I are enthusiastic to raise our two boys in this increasingly sustainable-minded world."

Thirty-Plus Years Focusing on the Energy Industry
In the global energy marketplace, companies are challenged by many factors--price fluctuations, cost containment, supply chain management, technological improvements, enhanced production demands, deregulation, and the need for capital. Tackling these issues requires the support of professionals who have a proven track record in the industry.
For more than 30 years, Hein has provided services to the energy industry. We work with energy companies to promote growth, improve operations, and reduce liability. We are one of the few firms in the nation with more than a third of our practice devoted to this specialty area, and we are rated as one of the nation's leading auditors of the energy industry.
Alternative Energy Emergence
Hein entered the alternative energy professional services market in 2003 when we assisted in the successful IPO of a solar company. Since then, in addition to solar, we have worked with companies across the alternative energy spectrum including wind, geothermal, ethanol and other biofuels.
