LCI logo Language Consultants International
Language Consultants International (LCI) is an English and foreign languages training, translations and interpretations provider founded in 1995 and located centrally in Denver.

LCI provides English as a Second Language (ESL) programs for clients from all over the world.  We provide accent reduction training, General, Academic, and Executive English programs.  LCI
has university partnerships and TOEFL waiver programs with the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs, Regis University, Colorado State University Pueblo College of Business, Mesa State College, and Western State College and other schools for students who wish to continue their studies at an American university.

LCI-teachingLCI provides business English classes for ESL executives, serving clients from the Denver area and abroad.  Our business English classes are customized for our clients' specific areas of interest including business, legal, medical or other specializations in English.  LCI's English training programs can be combined with golf or ski lessons so our clients can improve their English and enjoy some of Colorado's great outdoor activities.

LCI's unique Explore and Learn program gives our clients the opportunity to get to know the Mile High City of Denver and practice their English at the same time.  Participants are accompanied by an LCI instructor to visit exciting points of interest in Denver, which allows them to learn more about the American culture while practicing their English in real life situations.

LCI's Accent Reduction program focuses on eliminating language barriers and miscommunications that commonly occur when speaking English as a second language.  The goal of accent reduction is not to eliminate an accent or disguise heritage, but to help the individual communicate clearly and effectively.  LCI's training helps individuals focus on concise and clear pronunciation, improving their communication skills and bolstering their confidence in everyday communications, presentations and speaking over the phone.

LCI offers a variety of both group and private classes and is pleased to offer a 20% discount  on all classes for FACC members who enroll by June 30, 2010.

Research Collaboration Recognized by FACC

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed in Paris on Monday, April 12, 2010 between the US Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) and CORA partner Tenerrdis, located in the Rhone-Alpes region of France.  CORA (an FACC affiliate organization) was instrumental in bringing these two organizations together.
This agreement is a result of two years of relationship building
by CORA and its partners in the Rhone-Alpes region.

The FACC, through its affiliate organization, the Colorado Rhone-Alpes Association (CORA) has promoted new research collaborations between NREL and renewable energy laboratories in France. CORA has supported an open business dialogue between Colorado and France since 2007, especially in the area of renewable energy.

Frank Condolences to the Family of Frank Moulton
On behalf of the French-American Chamber of Commerce, we would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family of Frank Moulton who passed away on April 30th.  Frank played a fundamental role in the early years of our organization, back when we were still the French-American Business Association (FABA), and he continued as an active Board Member for many years.  Frank was always very generous with his time and was a very loyal member and friend of the
FACC and he will be truly missed.

Mastering the Art of Community and Influencer Marketing
The Colorado Rhone-Alpes Economic Development Partnership (CORA), an initiative of the FACC, along with Colorado's Technology Association (CSIA) presented this topic as a luncheon program.  There were about 35 attendees, mostly marketing managers and social media directors from high-tech companies, who learned how to identify key social influencers and relevant people, how to effectively leverage social media networks to promote their brands and products, and how to gain consumer insights from target communities.

The program was presented by Dominique Lahaix, the CEO of eCairn and Yann Ropars, the principal of Extanz, a Colorado social media PR agency and partner of eCairn.  The presentation was followed by a short demo of eCairn Conversation™.

This event was sponsored by Extanz.
