Welcome to the inaugural issue of In Reach's new e-newsletter, Catalyst. In Reach created this resource to showcase the organizations and work of leaders in our communities, provide information about the rich resources available to help you perform your work better, and bring important issues to the forefront for support with the ultimate goal of creating positive change for children, youth and families living in Prince George's County, Maryland.

Promoting Child Welfare:Training Professionals to Support Healthy Marriages, Relationships and Families
The mission of the Promoting Child Welfare: Training Professionals to Support Healthy Marriages, Relationships and Families Project, a project of Syracuse University, College of Human Ecology, was to develop curricula and provide training for students and professionals that enhanced their ability to facilitate healthy marriages, relationships and families, with the end goal of promoting and improving the well-being of chidlren.
Funded by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, Administration for Children and Families (ACF), through its Healthy Families Initiative, the Syracuse University Team has compiled a compendium of materials that promote successful building of relationship skills and provide child welfare workers with a starting point for training staff or developing a program that supports healthy adult relationships.
