Greetings!
For those of you who didn't receive our July email, this is what it said:
Within the next several months, there will be some big changes at White Swan Rubber Stamps. Our lease here will not be renewed and rather than move the store to another location in this area, we have decided to relocate to Boise, Idaho. My daughter (my partner in the store) lives there, has her business there and loves the area. It will also put me closer to the rest of my family who all live on the west coast.
I wish I could tell each one of you individually because each one of you is just as important to me as anyone else. I have been determined to tell everybody at once rather that a few people at a time and have the word spread that way. It's been hard and I know that I've been evasive with some of you.
There is an active stamping community in that area in Idaho that lost their only stamp store several years ago and I've made contact with some of those people. The feedback I've received from my stamp companies and stampers has been very positive.
The timeline:

I have put my house up for sale. It's impossible to know when it will sell, but our move will be within the next several months.

When the house is sold and heads toward settlement, the store will be packed up to move.

When we get to Boise, we will find retail store space there or in a surrounding community.
You can continue to order from us by phone or email and we will very likely set up an online shopping site.
We want to reassure you that we'll continue to be a source of information, ideas, and products. Watch our website for updates and in the meantime, come in and shop! I have moved a lot of stamping supplies from home to the store and will be happy to demonstrate any techniques or products that I can. Give me a call the day before if possible so I can be ready for you.
Now for the reason for this email: my house has been sold and the last day we will be open will be Saturday, September 12, 2009. I wish we could stay open longer, but have a lot of packing to do! Please try to stop by.
Some of you have asked where Boise, Idaho is: it is bordered by Washington state, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, and Montana, with British Columbia at the very top. The shape of the state is a lot like Delaware's shape, and Boise is located in the lower left hand corner.
We're planning on carrying a lot of stamps (some new companies), papers, and accessories you'll love. We will get a store opened fast! If you need to order something, you don't have to wait until we get our online store open. Just call or email us.
