May 16, Saturday - A Day in Old New Castle, annual tour of private homes and gardens. Tickets required. Sponsored by Immanuel Episcopal Church, www.dayinoldnewcastle.org.
June 1 through November 17 - Exhibit: A Vestige of the Dutch: The Tile House of New Castle, Dutch House Museum, Included with regular admission, www.newcastlehistory.org.
June 11, Thursday - Dutch House Garden Party, tickets required, www.newcastlehistory.org.
June 13, Saturday - Separation Day with parade, festivities, reenactments, booths, rides, food, evening concert and fireworks. Free. Call 322-9802.
August 8 - Garden Festivus at Read House & Gardens. The return of the Great Pear Cook Off, guided garden tours, kids activities, prizes and much more. Additional outdoor events at other New Castle historic sites. Call 302-295-3284 or www.dehistory.org.
