Greetings!
All of us at Michigan's Children wish you a happy
Holiday Season and best wishes for 2010. We don't
need to tell you that 2009 was a difficult year for the
vulnerable children in our state. But because of your
help, Michigan's Children succeeded in preserving a
key child abuse and neglect prevention program
targeted for elimination, and we provided expert
assistance to legislators as they shaped critical
education reform legislation that was passed just
before Christmas. Will you help us continue this
essential work by making a contribution of $25, $50,
$100 or in any amount?
Good things happen for the needy children of
Michigan because of advocacy, and we thank all of you
who took our suggestions this year to contact a
legislator and speak up on behalf of kids.
With your financial support, we can make Michigan a
place where ALL children have the opportunity to
thrive. We will need to work even harder in the coming
months to ensure that our state systems designed to
ensure the health, safety and educational
opportunities of our children are able to operate
effectively and efficiently. Our highest priority as a state
must be the education and welfare of our youngest
citizens.
Again, thank you for making it possible for us to do
this essential work on behalf of our children. Checks
can be mailed to Michigan's Children, 428 W.
Lenawee, Lansing, MI, 48933. Contributions also are
accepted on-line at www.michiganschildren.org
