Breckenridge Festival

"The past two nights have been transformational for me." This was one man's comment to us after a weekend of spiritually-themed films at the Breckenridge Festival of Film. It is always a treat to be able to talk with audiences after screenings of The Enemy God. They ask very insightful questions and it seems that each person is touched in a different way by different things in the film. After a small screening this past weekend, another person came up to me and told me that they were, "...touched deeply and at many different levels..." by the story. Comments like these help us get through the drudgery of filmmaking!

Next Stop: Santa Fe, NM

Next week, on June 23 and 26, The Enemy God will screen as part of the Talking Stick Film Festival. Matt and I will be there to participate in Q&A after the screenings and to hear more stories from indigenous filmmakers. We anticipate that our Yanomamö friends' story will be provocative in this setting. We hope for many fruitful discussions during the screenings. If you happen to live in the area of Santa Fe or Albuqerque, New Mexico, we would love to see you there.

Thanks for your prayers and support.

Yours,
