Greetings!
Hope you haven't minded the more frequent updates. But there has been a lot of news lately. Here are two more updates:
Venezuela News: follow-up
After many hassles and some real blessings, Joe and Millie's children were able to spend a brief visit in Coshelewäteli village. Joe's health is still up and down, but the crisis of a couple of weeks ago seems to have passed. He and Millie were very grateful to have their children around them for the first time in many years. Access is still very difficult as there is no air service into the jungle. Out of respect for the years of service that Joe and Millie have given to the Yanomamö, Venezuelan government officials stepped in to offer military flights. At the same time, local military officials in the jungle were trying to keep the kids from traveling. In the end, the higher officials ordered the local military to assist them and they reached the village safely.
Another Festival
The Enemy God film has been invited to screen at the 28th annual Breckenridge Festival of Film, June 5-8, 2008. This festival is held every year in up in the mountains near us so it is a nice treat. Our Colorado friends (and those who want to see the beautiful Rocky Mts in the summer) can join us for the screening: Saturday, June 7th, at 6PM. More info at: Breckenridge Festival of Film.

Krister, Matt, and Tom at the last year's Breckenridge Festival of Film. It's a beautiful mountain resort town. We're looking forward to screening and talking about our film at this year's fest.
