From the our friends in Amazonas: Dear Praying Friends,
Thanks to all of you who prayed so faithfully! The Lord really undertook!
When the people here heard that we were in danger of being expelled all who had made plans to work garden, go fishing or go about other business they had planned, rushed back to the village after they received the message sent to them by those who had heard it here. Even some who were on their way
to the downriver village
of Esmeralda rushed back
here to be here to stand up for us and protect us if necessary. Our hearts were really touched by
their fervor and determination to help us in any way they could so that we be not expelled from their village.
One of the old ladies came this morning to talk to me and she was almost crying as she shared with me how she was going to tell those who wanted to put us out that we had been here so long -- ever since we were both young women and how she looked on us as her people and would mourn for us just as she would for her flesh and blood if anything happened to us.
So we want to thank you for your prayers. Only the Lord knows what the situation really was and whether there really was a plan to come to put us out. However, we know that the Lord is the One who brought us here and He is the one who can keep us here through faithful prayers of His people on our behalf. So God bless each of you who took the time to pray!
I don't need to add any more. We will have more film news in the next update.
