Greetings ,
I had been planning a new update to give you news of progress on the film, however, I need to save that news for later this week. We just received news from Venezuela that has much more urgency to it. I will give you excerpts from an e-mail from our friends in Amazonas that will explain their situation.
This morning, we received this message from our friends in Bautista's village:
"We just received a warning today from a friend telling us that there is a commission on its way to remove us from our place of service. We had of course hoped that these types of threats were behind us, but we know the spiritual powers talked about in Ephesians are never going to give up. Please be much in prayer for us during this day. We have received these warnings before and, other than totally ruining our day because we set around on pins and needles waiting, the warnings have been false. This time we think it is a bit more credible. Please join with us in praying that the Lord's will would be done and we would rest in HIM. We have too much to do to sit around and wait for anyone, so that is out anyway. (although I am sure we could all use the rest) Anyway, again, our confidence remains in the Lord and His timing. Please pray that we would be good testimonies of the Lord's goodness to all who do come."
We expect to hear more sometime. For now, this is all we know. As we hear more we will give you more information.
