Greetings ,

I hope this finds you well now that we are two months into the new year! February finds us here at 10X Productions chiseling away at the many tasks of finishing The Enemy God film. We now have all of the special visual effects shots completed. The music score is also finished. Work on sound design and mixing is well underway. We have also submitted copies of the film to several distribution companies and film festivals and continue to send out more submissions regularly.

First Film Festival

We are very excited to let you know that The Enemy God has been selected to screen as a part of the Brilliant Light International Film Festival in Los Angeles in April. This festival emphasizes films with spiritual themes, coming from every perspective. We know that the Yanomamö's story will have a great impact on audiences at this and other festivals in the next months.

Screenings

We have had several small 'sneak-preview' screenings of the film in the past month. Because it is still a work-in-progress we are using these as focus groups to see how the film plays for different people. The response has been very encouraging. You can read a few of their comments on our web site if you click here.

Finally...

As you may know, 10X Productions is a non-profit organization. Yai Wanonabälewä: The Enemy God  has been made through contributions, big and small, over the past five years or so. We are presently at a spot in the process where the film is almost complete but so is our funding to take it to the next stage and into distribution. Now we need partners to help us take the film to the world! We are looking for people, organizations, foundations or businesses to partner with us to see the film completed and brought to a wide audience. In order to finish the film, complete through a high definition version that will be suitable for screening at film festivals and theaters, and funds to help us get a start on managing distribution, we need $115,000 in the next few months.

Please help us take God's story among the Yanomamö to the widest possible audience through The Enemy God film. If you are able, your contribution toward these needs would be well used through this strategic resource.  If you e-mail us we can give you the particulars of how to donate. Any donations will be tax-deductible.
