Greetings! My number-one encouraging development this week is that Bautista Cajicuwa was finally able to make it to Belize! Bautista, who is the man around whom the events of our film take place, has been trying for many months to be able to leave Venezuela to join with us in telling his story on film. Below you'll see pictures of him on the set yesterday and hear more news about the film's progress. Thank you for joining with us, Tom Khazoyan –– Executive Producer, The Enemy God (Yai Wana Naba Laywa) film |

A Closer Partnership ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
One of the more difficult aspects of this
whole project has been the inaccessibility of
our Yanomamo partners. Events and circumstances
have prevented that collaboration from
working exactly as we had planned.
Fortunately, we
have had Timoteo on the set while we have
been filming.
Bautista's arrival in Belize on Sunday was a great milestone in this long process. He has been involved in many aspects of telling this story, but now he is able to sit next to Christopher as he directs the scenes, interact with the Kekchi actors who are portraying him and his people, and more fully appreciate what God has brought together. In the picture above, Bautista is on the left. Alejandro, the Kekchi actor who portrays Bautista as a young man is in the center. Mike, a long-time friend of Bautista who grew up and still lives among the Yanomamo is on the right. Mike is one of our Yanomamo cultural advisors and translators.

Prayer Requests ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
? We are filming some very diffcult and significant scenes right now. We have lots of actors on the set, special effects shots, and other challenges. Please pray for creativity, endurance, and safety for our cast and crew. ? We have only a short time left for filming. We need wisdom about how to capture everything we need, what scenes we may need to re-shoot for creative or technical reasons, and perseverance to the end.
