-- Prayer Requests
Greetings! In recent days, much has been happening on The Enemy God film project. Thanks for taking a minute to read this this exciting news. In May, new conversations with Venezuelan (VZ) government officials indicated that filming in Coshelewateli village might still be a possibility. These were not considered to be credible enough to commit once again to film in Cosh, but we were open to hear what they had to say, and we began to pray about what God wanted us to take from this.
Mike Dawson, our partner in VZ, called this
week and the situation seems to be continuing to
deteriorate. Still hoping and praying for the
impossible, we had been trying to set up a meeting
with a general who is in charge of the state of
Amazonas where we have been working on the film
project. Mike recently met with our Venezuelan
lawyer but said he couldn’t share a lot
of details over the phone. (Mike did remind me that
two of our lawyer’s brothers were generals – thus
letting us know that this was solid information.)
Our lawyer’s recommendations are as follows;
? He felt it would be a mistake to try
to meet with the General at this time concerning the
movie (even if there were friendly overtures.)
In response, we are considering
the door closed in VZ. This is based on
conversations with our legal counsel in VZ, Mision
Padamo and our own leadership here.
Psalm 127:1 "Except the LORD build the house, they
labor in vain that build it." Tom Khazoyan –– Executive Producer, Yai Bada (The Enemy God) film [Note: If this is the first time you have received this update, you can read all of our past reports on our web site, www.TheEnemyGod.com under the "News" section.] |

Prayer Requests ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
? First, praise the Lord with us that we have a
clear answer to our questions about whether or not
we should film in Venezuela. The conversations have
given us new insights into our options and will
hopefully encourage our our Yanomamö partners.
? Please pray for good communication with our partners in Belize. We need to work out details of permits, budgets, crew, and other logistical issues. ? Please pray for our creative team: Matt Castagna (Producer), Christopher Bessette (Director), and myself. Pray for both creativity and wisdom about how to best bring this story to a worldwide audience.
