Greetings! Thank you for standing with us in prayer. I have had several very encouraging conversations with pastors, missionaries, and other friends about this film project in the past couple of weeks. God is using this story in amazing ways and we believe He will continue to make His glory known in ways we can't yet imagine. Just a brief note this week to let you know of a few things that have been going on and some prayer requests. Thank you for joining with us, Tom Khazoyan –– Executive Producer, The Enemy God film [Note: If this is the first time you have received this update, you can read all of our past reports on our web site, www.TheEnemyGod.com under the "News" section.] |

We're On The Road (or in the air) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As you are reading this on Tuesday (Apr. 18th) Matt
Castagna and I will be traveling to South America on
a location scouting trip. Our itinerary includes
both Ecuador and Belize in the next two weeks. We
have great relationships with folks in each of those
countries and are hopeful of seeing some alternative
filming locations for the motion picture.
As we have said in past messages, we are looking for stable politics, suitable locations (i.e., jungle, villages), and most importantly, a tribal group who is eager to partner with the Yanomamö (and us) to help tell this story. Please keep us in your prayers as we meet with government officials, local leaders, and tribal leaders in the next two weeks.

News from VZ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
From Mike Dawson - Dear praying friends, The (Bible) seminar ended, and not a day to soon, I'll tell you! I think I could be certified "crazy" to try that again as short handed as we were. Mercy, what a mob! Anyway, we had a great seminar; 22 people got saved, and we had 25 get baptized. Most of the students were guys that had been here before, so the ones that got saved here, were guys that came with other students to make public professions of faith because, I think they had already gotten saved in their own villages. From what I am seeing, it does seem like our students are having a ministry in their own villages in spite of their own shortcomings. A recurring theme in their testimonies was, "Please be praying for me, it is really hard to live for the Lord, I really want my life to be a light for the other people in my village, but I fall so easily." Another thing that was so brought to my attention this seminar was, "God chooses the foolish things..." From the original classes, the ones I thought were so bright and teachable have not done much with what they have been taught, but the guys who I felt we were just humoring to allow in the classes, have really taken to heart what God's Word says, and have gone on to become our best soul winners. They headed home yesterday, so the village is pretty quiet. I am not really sure exactly how many we had here, because I did not get a good count on the women. We had 105 men, + or -, so it was a good group. I am estimating with the women we probably had 135-145 total from 27 different villages. We went through a lot of food, I know that! We went through a total of: 8 Lapa (large rodent), 490 cakes of casave, 200 lbs of manoco, 3 catfish, (average size 6 foot, weight, 105 lbs) no fish story!, 4 monkeys, 1 large alligator, 160 lbs of rice, and 5 cases of sardines.

Praises and Prayer Requests ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
? Praise the Lord for great relationships with folks
in Ecuador and Belize. Please pray for fruitful
conversations as we look at options in those countries.
? Praise the Lord for new life in the jungles of VZ! Pray for the Yanomamö Church and it carries the good news of freedom in Christ throughout the jungle. ? Please continue to pray for this project, for us, and for the future impact this story will have on the Church and on non-believers who will see it in the future.
