Greetings! After so much uncertainty and tension in Venezuela in the past few months, it is nice to have no urgent political news to report! The Lord continues to watch over His people. We continue to believe that what the Enemy intends for harm, God will turn for good. Jesus is building His Church and the gates of Hell will not stand against it. Right now, our Yanomamö brothers and sisters are literally storming the gates of Hell, confronting the lies the Enemy has told to their people. Let's stand with them and let the world know! Thank you for joining with us, Tom Khazoyan –– Executive Producer, The Enemy God film [Note: If this is the first time you have received this update, you can read all of our past reports on our web site, www.TheEnemyGod.com under the "News" section.] |

Our Next Steps - Moving Forward! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
While things are pretty quiet in the jungle, that
doesn't mean that things are back to "normal" for
the film project. The situation there has changed
radically from one year ago, when we were building
sets and getting ready to begin photography of the
film in Cosh village. Right now, the Yanomamö are
cut off from the outside world because of a lack of
air transportation. The only way into the jungle is
via river - a trip of hundreds of miles. While the
government has indicated that they are now willing
to work with the missionaries of Mision Padamo,
everything is very restriced.
Matt Castagna, our Producer, and I will be making a trip to Central and South America next month (April 18-28) to look at two possible locations for filming. One is in Belize and the other is in Ecuador. Both appear to have the elements we are looking for in a new location for the film: a stable government, tribal partners who are willing to work with us and the Yanomamö, jungle, and local contacts who can be our field partners throughout the process of making the film. While we regret the loss of the chance for the Yanomamö to tell their own story, we believe we can and should make the film with another tribal group who understands how important it is for this story of God's power and grace to be told to the outside world. Please pray for us as we make preparations for this trip. Pray that God would open the right doors with the governments, with tribal leaders, and with other organizations on the field who will be our partners in making this all happen.

Praises and Prayer Requests ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
* Praise the Lord with us for a $10,000 gift from a
church here in the Denver area. They have been
partners at various stages of the project and we
appreciate their generosity and partnership with us.
* Please continue to pray for our Yanomamö brothers and sisters in Venezuela. They recently completed another Bible seminar in the village. We haven't yet heard any fresh reports but we expect that God will move as He has in the past to propel the gospel throughout the jungle, despite spiritual and government opposition. * Please pray for our April trip plans. In some ways, this seems like a routine request: plane tickets, safety in travel, etc. However, as you know, the Enemy often tries to make even routine tasks a headache. We appreciate your standing with us in prayer during this planning time.
