Greetings!,

Thanksgiving is my favorite of all the major holidays because it is simply about family, friends and the sharing of our experiences with one another. Sitting at the dining room table and spending hours enjoying a meal together is what I cherish the most. The simplicity and pureness of putting a meal together to serve to those you love is such a touching tradition. A lot can be expressed through food:  love, inclusiveness, and acceptance, just to name a few. thanksgiving

As I write this, I am reminded that ACS celebrates Thanksgiving all year round. Not through food, but through our offices where teens feel welcome and heard, respected and honored.  What we get in return is a smile or a sign that says, "I am alright now. I can continue facing the struggle of life because you have helped me".  With our supporters, we are reminded every day that without your continued and generous support there would be no offices and or well-training listening ears for those struggling young lives. Through your support, a piece of you is in everything that we do and therefore, the smiles we get as kids leave our counseling offices are also directed at you.  ACS brings smiles and better lives and YOU help us do that. So in the spirit of the Thanksgiving season, on behalf of the thousands of smiles we see every year as we fulfill our quest of helping teenagers find their way, I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Have a happy, safe, spirited and loving Thanksgiving!
