    Folsom Encore Wide Screen Display System
    Wide Screen blending is a reality in our industry today. Nationwide Video selected the Folsom Encore for its user friendly software and manufacturer's technical support.

    We have uniquely configured the Encore for our clients by pre-wiring, labeling, and rack mounting the system for ease of set up.

    Encore is capable of blending 1 to 6 screens or can distribute up to 6 independent sources simultaneously. The unit has 24 universal inputs and 6 video processors (VP). Each VP houses 3 dual scalers referred to as (ME's) or mixer/effect units.

    For ease of show set Nationwide provides an NEC 40" LCD monitor allowing your Technical Director to view (3) preview and program images on a single display. If your show requires more than a (3) screen blend, we can provide additional Video Processors and Monitors.     Dual Head Computer for Background Images
    To compliment Encore, Nationwide Video offers dual head graphics card computers which are utilized in wide screen shows to produce static background images.

    For instance, a Folsom Encore Sytem has (6) PIP windows to customize and perform your wide screen application. If you wanted a background you would have to utilize (1) of your PIP's, reducing your available PIP windows to (5). Our dual head computer eliminates that situation and allows you to mazimize Encore's capabilities.

     Normally our tech tip gives you a "quick tidbit" of technical info, however this time we want to share something of greater importance.

    Our Atlanta office has gained tremendous strength in its front and rear lines. Clark Turner has returned from duty in the Middle East where he protected our country and our freedom. We appreciate his courage and willingness by choice to place himself in a very challenging situation. Welcome back for your second tour of duty with Nationwide Video. Clark will be responsible for technical support of the Southeast Region.

    Industry veteran Joe Fiumefreddo has joined Nationwide in a lead sales capacity for the Southeast Territory. Joe brings nearly 20 years of industry experience and is driven by servicing customers and keeping his clients up to date with the constant flow of new products available to them through Nationwide.
