This news is truly revolutionary. Our independent bookstore trade association has been working overtime these challenging days to keep us Indies up to speed. The latest amazing improvement to our websites is the ability for us to sell Google E-Books.
These work on many reading devices including iPad, iPhone, NookColor, Sony Reader, and I believe any smartphone or computer. (But not Kindle... Amazon does not play nicely with others.) I've been travelling a lot recently, and it's been great for me to buy books from our website and start reading them immediately on my iPhone. A whole new world indeed.
THRILLINGLY, while prices can vary, there are six major publishers who have agreed to an "agency model" of pricing so we can charge the SAME price as the big players. Very cool indeed.

We've been hearing requests for a while now... ever since Musicall closed (and don't we all miss it!) there's been no local source for guitar strings. But fear no more! We now have them in stock.
Our own Suzanne Keller worked with local musician Andy Bullington to put a starter selection in place, so there's an assortment of strings and picks to choose from. Please come check them out, and let us know if we're missing something you'd like to see.
