________________________________________________________ Today is the launch day for MOCKINGJAY, the highly anticipated Book 3 in Suzanne Collins' Hunger Games Trilogy. Hurry in for your copy while supplies last!   A dedicated group of fans came out at midnight last night to get their copies... we had fun refreshing our memories of the cliff-hanging end of book two while nibbling on District bread and dried squirrel (beef jerky). This crew gets serious bragging rights for braving the weather! Also notable this week is a visit from Nat Philbrick, who will be on hand Friday from 4:00-5:00 PM to sign copies of his bestselling books, including his latest bestseller: THE LAST STAND.    Not only is Nat Philbrick our island's most lauded historian, National Book Award winner, and popular bestselling author, he's also a genuinely charming and kind man. Stop in, say Hi, and have books personalized for all your friends and family! As ever there is much more to report, but rainy days in August demand attention from Yours Truly at the cozy little bookshop.
