3rd and Alaska! By Dayle Little, Marketing Admin
As the game clock ticked down and I watched helplessly as my beloved Seminoles squandered away a two touchdown lead over the NC State Wolfpack last Thursday evening, one of the broadcasters used the line "It's 3rd and Alaska" to describe just how far Florida State had to go on third down in order to get the next first down and ultimately keep the game alive. I think it's safe to say that at one time or another we all find ourselves in the same type of third down situation, wondering if the distance we need to go is just too great. Will we be able to maneuver around the obstacles life throws in our way in order to keep the game alive?
On the home front, the Halloween decorations have come down and the Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations are being prepped to take their rightful places. On the political scene it's Election Day around the country and candidates find themselves in the position to either convert a game winning crucial third down or punt it away until the next election year. Here at Strategies Group , we are in the fourth quarter running hard and grinding our way through the year end accounting processes while simultaneously tracking and logging all inbound purchase orders and feverishly scheduling our field consultants to customer sites as we race against the holiday clock. Our head coach, Randy Collins, is drawing up a successful game plan that will keep us moving forward in to the 2011 season regardless of whether the defense blitzes or plays man to man. As your technology business partner, we want to remind you that if you find yourselves at third and Alaska we're here to help. We'll work together on the next play call to make sure your business continues to move forward and is able to convert and score. Success in business and in life is undoubtedly a team effort. With the right technology, partners, preparation and execution we can all find ourselves on the winning team.
