3rd and Alaska By: Dayle Little Marketing Admin  As the game clock ticked down and I watched helplessly as my beloved Seminoles squandered away a two touchdown lead over the NC State Wolfpack last Thursday evening, one of the broadcasters used the line "It's 3rd and Alaska" to describe just how far Florida State had to go on third down in order to get the next first down and ultimately keep the game alive.I think it's safe to say that at one time or another we all find ourselves in the same type of third down situation, wondering if the distance we need to go is just too great.
