At the first signs of warming riders get excited --when can we get out riding!?!  Ten degrees in Calgary, more daylight in Toronto, snow (finally) leaving Vancouver and area(!)  Doesn't matter that there's lots more winter left, we've got the itch!  So, while you're touring the bike shows, charging your battery, planning your routes and booking your dates, we have several KEY dates that you need to note NOW.  Check out the details below, and WRITE IT DOWN!!

FRIDAY MAY 1 - International Female Ride Day - Created by MCC member MOTORESS; 2009 marks the third annual worldwide opportunity for women to "JUST RIDE". A day highlighting and promoting the pleasure and camaraderie women share in motorcycling around the world! Be part of it this year.Visit the website for more info.
 
 AUGUST 19-22 - AMA International Women and Motorcycling Conference - Keystone, Colorado.  Colorado offers some of the most beautiful riding anywhere, and the fifth occasion of this event is waiting for you. Canadian women riders have declared their plans to attend, and if our Women Riders Council (WRC) has anything to do with it, there will be some Canadian female riders' front-and-centre. FED BUDGET PROVIDES $25 MILLION FOR TRAILS 
If you're a trail rider, you'll be pleased to know that the federal budget allocates $25 million to multi-use trail development in Canada.  Celebrate the inclusion of the motorised community in this National Trails initiative. Read more here. 
 
MCCINDUCTION BANQUET & REUNION - OCTOBER 24, 2009
The Induction banquet and reunion is arguably the motorcycle event of the year, and you should plan to be there. The presentations are superb, and the stories are inspiring and often heart-wrenching.  Note the date, and watch for early bird ticket purchase opportunities this summer.
