MCC Announces Club Insurance Program
The MCC has created a Liability Insurance Program
for its member clubs and associations. Designed to
cover clubs and their members in the event of
injury/damage to a third party, this Commercial
General Liability Insurance program is economically
priced and covers most situations for most clubs.
For $3.00 per individual member (with a $75
minimum), clubs can put a program into place that
will protect members, leaders and participants. This
insurance is the foundation for a well-organized
club. The policy will cover any and all club
activities and events, except competitive events.

Greetings!
Welcome to our first eLetter. (If you're receiving
it in error, you can unsubscribe through the link at
the bottom of this newsletter.)
MCC is Canada's newest and largest motorcycle
riders organization. Our mission is simple: We want
to bring more-and-more motorcycle groups together
so that we can work together on the stuff that
matters.
Our members are the associations, federations and
clubs that are organized to serve the rider.
Together, we will work to see that the issues that
matter to motorcyclists are dealt with.
HELP US SPREAD THE WORD! Forward this
newsletter to your fellow motorcyclists, so that they
can sign up.

Meet us at the Motorcycle Shows

MCC will have a booth at the major motorcycle
shows across Canada. Visit us at the Vancouver,
Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Québec City and
Montréal Shows. In most cases, we will have space
adjacent to our major provincial association
members. And, if you hear of a new show (for
example, there’s one being conceived in Manitoba),
let us know!
Our first show will be in Toronto, December 2-4, at
the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Visit us in the
Rider Nation area, booth RN37.

Yes, Virginia, there is F*R*E*E motorcycle parking in Toronto

Many have read the articles in the Globe and Mail or
Toronto Star newspapers, or the Press Release from
MCC. And we get calls: Is it true? YES!! The City
of Toronto has provided remarkable leadership by
exempting motorcycles and scooters from paid-
parking on the streets of Toronto (effective October
27, 2005). AND you can legally park on an angle up
to 60-degrees (meaning more bikes in a space).
What’s next for Toronto? Possibly free parking in
city-owned lots (the Green-P’s). The Toronto
Parking Authority has been directed to find space
and report to City Council. We’ll keep you posted!
