Colonoscopy
All the organs of the body were having a meeting, trying to decide who was the one in charge.
"I should be in charge," said the brain, "because I run all the body's systems, so without me nothing would happen."
"I should be in charge," said the blood, "because I circulate oxygen all over so without me you'd all waste away."
"I should be in charge," said the stomach, "because I process food and give all of you energy."
"I should be in charge," said the legs, "because I carry the body wherever it needs to go."
"I should be in charge," said the eyes, "because I allow the body to see where it goes."
"I should be in charge," said the rectum, "because I'm responsible for waste removal."
All the other body parts laughed at the rectum and insulted him, so in a huff, he shut down tight.
Within a few days, the brain had a terrible headache, the stomach was bloated, the legs got wobbly, the eyes got watery, and the blood was toxic. They all decided that the rectum should be the boss.
The moral of the story? Even though the others do all the work.....
The a_ _ hole is usually in charge!
(Come on now, you know we ALL know someone like this, don't we?)

From the desk of Bob: Keep smiling. Remember, life is what you make it. I know
these phrases sound like trite and measly words, but let me get to this point....
Phone calls are coming into me quite a bit recently and it obviously has been really hard for many people lately. Negative
stress is majorly impacting people all over this planet. I am hearing from many,
many folks who are at their wits end with their jobs or lack of employment, financial
challenges, relationships, and the like.
Please just PRESS ON! And holler if
you are getting desperate and needing someone to do some serious creative
thinking with or just talk to. I am here for you. I can be a great listening
ear. I promise.
On another note conferences are booking well for me in April and May. If you know of anyone needing my services this summer now would be the time to get a hold of my schedule.
Tenaciously, Bob

 Staying Out of Trouble!
May I ask you a couple of questions? Would you like to have more
positive relationships? Would you like to save yourself a lot of headaches and
hassles? Well, I have a strategy for you today to consider applying in your
life.
From this moment forward let me challenge you to ask
questions with a natural curiosity and a quest to get the answers you need.
Asking questions is one of the smartest things to do to save time, energy, and
accomplish your goals more quickly. I love asking questions. Just remember your five honest serving men... WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, and
WHY.
When dealing with others, their weaknesses, their
challenges, and their issues I have found it to be much more productive to ask
a few key questions to get to the points that I want to make versus saying
something, stating my opinion and ultimately offending someone. Making a
statement causes people to get defensive. This makes it more difficult to
resolve challenges because people get their dander up. If you truly want
greater success in dealing with people just pause before speaking and make sure
you phrase what you are going to say in the form of a question.
Here comes the tough part though. You must ask the question
with the right kind of attitude. In other words, you should not ask the question
in such away that the person you are communicating with is offended. You should
not ask the question in a condescending attitude. You should not ask the
question as if you know all the answers either.
I have also discovered it works really well if you first get
their permission to ask a quick question or two. This will help set the tone
and establish a foundation for solid communications. If you ask permission you
are showing respect and this is powerful when it comes to building a
healthy relationship. This works simply because when you give respect you will
gain respect. I should also mention that when you ask permission first to ask
some questions you will get a positive response YES, 99% of the time. Actually
those are some pretty good odds. If you are still getting negative responses
when you ask permission make sure that you have the BEST possible attitude when
asking.
In summary, this is how I stay out of trouble!
"You will never get into trouble if you ask a question with
the right attitude. It is in the making of statements that a person will
get
into trouble, literally every time."
