October is Adopt-a-Shelter-Dog Month!

Celebrate Dogtober Fest with Foothills Animal Shelter! For the entire month of October, dog adoption fees will be 50% off the normal adoption price.* This unbelievable special includes the spay or neuter, vaccines, microchip and health check.

Be sure to "like" Foothills Animal Shelter on Facebook so you can see one dog highlighted every day for the whole month of October. That's 31 wagging tails that might work their way into your heart!

*Does not apply to dogs under the age of 6 months or "Top Dogs."

No scaredy cats or dogs this Halloween!

Dog ready for HalloweenDon't let Halloween turn into a real nightmare for you and your pets! Make sure your four-legged friends enjoy a stress-free holiday by following these safety tips, covering everything from what your pet shouldn't eat to other Halloween related hazards.

If we had tails, we'd be wagging them! Nearly 3,800 dogs - from puppies to seniors - have been adopted since Foothills Animal Shelter moved to our new facility in August 2010. With your help during Dogtober Fest this October, we can ensure that many more orphaned dogs find new homes! Please join with us in promoting the value of a canine friend and the importance of adopting from a Shelter.
