A Simple Fix

Our spay/neuter mobile unit is on the move!

We're bringing spaying and neutering to the streets! Foothills Animal Shelter's mobile surgical unit can now bring our affordable services where they are needed most, thanks to support from the Animal Assistance Foundation.

Beginning July 27, our mobile unit will be providing spay/neuter procedures for cats and dogs at convenient locations throughout our community. While pets are in the care of our mobile surgical team, they can also be microchipped, vaccinated, and licensed for an additional fee.

Summertime Pet Safety

Adoptable Guinea Pig, Bird, Turtle, Rabbit Pets in all shapes & sizes

Did you know that the Shelter not only has adoptable dogs and cats, but also often has birds, bunnies, guinea pigs, ferrets, hamsters, lizards, turtles, and more? We even sometimes see more unique pets like chickens, peacocks, and pot-bellied pigs!

Last month, 407 pets in our care found forever homes, and 166 lost pets were reunited with their families! We appreciate your continued support as we help orphaned animals get the best chance at a better life.

Sincerely,

Foothills Animal Shelter

Microchip helps a dog return to her favorite job - looking for poop!

Thanks to a routine microchip scan, we soon discovered that a friendly pooch dropped off at our Shelter was a world-traveled scat detection dog awaiting her next adventure!
