FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES

Catalyst Grants 

UCLA Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) is inviting applications for Catalyst Grants. Catalyst Grants support team-building activities that advance translational science and promote collaborations across disciplines and CTSI institutions. Awards will range from $1,000 to $25,000, depending on the nature scope of the project. Projects may be events, which include lunchtime seminars, daylong symposia with faculty and community presenters from inside and outside UCLA, student-organized poster sessions, conferences and workshops; team or proposal development; or research support. EVENTS FROM UCLA CTSI 
Office of Investigator Services Information Session

The CTSI Office of Investigator Services' eight-week series of one-hour, drop-in consultations continues. Today Gail Panatier, coordinator of the CTSI Training Curriculum Program, will discuss the program's course offerings and eligibility requirements. On April 2, Lenore Arab, PhD will discuss a CTSI software tool for managing the grant proposal process. Both talks take place 12--1 p.m. in the Hollywood Conference Room CHS 16-145. Taubman Award Nominations 
The annual $100,000 Taubman Prize recognizes groundbreaking work in the field of translational research, which seeks to transform laboratory discoveries into climnical applications for patients suffering from disease.
