Dancing In The Stacks
This group gathered at a convenient bar-height bookshelf to listen to the band and have a beer at last year's IN THE STACKS event.  Join us this year for Singin' in the Stacks on Nov. 3.  It's worth the price of admission just to have a cocktail in the library!

On the Road and at Home with The Rolling Stones

Get a first hand account of what life was like with the Rolling Stones over the twenty year period that Bill German traveled, partied, and occasionally, lived with the Rolling Stones.  Hear the kind of stories that only insiders know. Vicious in-fighting, humorous anecdotes and personal observations. Thurs., Oct. 11, at 7 p.m.  Register here.

Celebrate Darien's History
On Sun., Oct. 21 from 2 to 4 p.m., authors Dean Rodkin, Deborah Coulman, Debra Kieras, and Mary Krekelberg will discuss their book Darien: Images of America about Darien's history.  Learn little known facts about the town, the people and the traditions of Darien.  Buy a copy of the book here, too.
