Drivers lined-up, done. Advertising, done. Housing secured, done. Practice sites ready, done. Flight schedules finalized, done. Audience-cannot check that off the list yet. Everything is in place for our chapter to host the semi-final round of NYACOP at the Cleveland Museum of Art on Friday May 25 between 9:30 am and 5:30 pm. Come for an hour or make a day of it, but do come and show your support for this event and for the seven semi-finalists. This is our last chapter event for this season. I want to express my profound gratitude to Paul Jones, Karel Paukert, Tim Robson, Charles Carr, Fern Jennings, Peg Limkemann, Carmen Massaro, Clifford Hill, Tim Hemry, Carol Neff, Betty Meyers, Dave Powers, Brian Wentzel, The Musart Society, Robert Moncrief, Jonathan Moyer, Willie Howard, Kay Hogg, April Martin, Don Shultzaberger, Karen Holtkamp, and the museum staff for their work on this competition. In particular I want to lift up Barbara MacGregor for her organization and hours of work on this project. We are near the end of our check list. Can you help us check-off audience? We do hope to see you on Friday. Cheers, Jim Riggs, Dean

Seeking Volunteers
The Chapter is in need of a Membership Directory Layout Designer. This person will design a camera-ready Membership Directory in conjunction with Registrar, Chris Toth, who will provide the data. They will solicit bids from printers and choose one to work with to produce the directory. This individual should have access to a computer program like MS Publisher or InDesign.
We also need a volunteer to solicit advertising for the Membership Directory. This would involve contacting concert presenters, organ builders and others who might purchase ads in our Directory and obtaining or designing camera-ready ads. This person will work closely with the Directory Layout Designer to produce the Directory.
These two positions have been filled by Don Jackson for the past six years. (Thank you, Don!) Splitting them will make a better division of labor and a less onerous task for each. This task would be completed over the summer so that directories can be distributed at our September meeting. Don will be available for consultation on the project. We hope to find someone internally to take on these tasks as having the book produced commercially would dramatically increase the cost to the chapter. If you are willing to take on either of these jobs please contact Fern Jennings.
All the best, Fern Jennings Dean-elect
