Greetings!
It's been awhile since we posted any new Recipes... a contest ended, and a new one is about to begin! For our last recipe contest we gave away an I-pad to one lucky winner, Anthony Guidry for his Court Bouillion! Check him out, enjoying his new toy!

 Dear Recipes, I love you!
|
Our first Recipe hails from Michigan from a professional chef and Culinary Instructor, and even comes with its own identifiable history! The Chef calls it "That Chicken Salad from the Deli!" and when you view (and try!) the recipe you will see why. It was born back in the 70's & 80's when grocery store delis were first gaining popularity. "I formulated this one for a midwest grocery chain in 1980. It was sold under the name "Cool Lemon Chicken" (Funny how what's common now, was considered a strange ingredient combination... cutting-edge cuisine for it's day!). It's really simple, low-cal and keeps for a few days in the fridge. Great if your packing a lunch!" writes Chef Kamp.
How cool is that? A famous culinary inventor follows our site! YAY! :)
Check out the delicious recipe HERE
Our second Recipe is only making the cut in this newsletter because I made it yesterday, after seeing the preparation on TV a couple of weeks ago. We ate it for dinner yesterday and loved it! Then.....we ate it again today for dinner!
Ye Divinities of Culinary Delights I Thank Thee! The reason this is such a monumental revelation is because my family never eats leftovers! EVER!
I will be writing a complete review of this recipe soon, but for now here's the link:

Reminder: Beware of my favorite color: PINK
| Reminder: Don't forget the sunblock. I traipsed about on a sunny day by the lake last weekend, and my skin let me know what a bad idea forgoing the sunblock is.
I'm meltinnnnnnnnnng, no wait I'm SCORCHING, OUCH!
 | I had to work for 24 hours straight with this nonsensical neglect and burnt pink skin! It even made my poor hair frizzy! :(
|
Reminder: If you paint your nails hot pink then spend the better part of a morning cooking, cleaning, and organizing, beware hot pink chips can splinter off into the food. Pink: Good on nails. Not so good in food.
