Orange Chamber Awards Assemblyman Jeff Miller the Commerce Award

Jeff Miller, Assemblyman (71st) was the recipient for the Commerce Award, an award presented by the Orange Chamber of Commerce. The Commerce Award will be presented to Assemblyman Miller at the Orange Chambers of Commerce Installation Dinner on July 14, to be held at the Doubletree Hotel, 100 The City Drive, Orange, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

The award goes to the City of Orange Mayor or Council Member, Assembly member, or Senator that has demonstrated, by their actions, a focus on improving the economic development climate in Orange County. Previous winners include City of Orange Mayor Carolyn Cavecche, Mayor Pro Tem Tita Smith, and U.S. Congressman Ed Royce.

Joint Orange Chamber of Commerce and LeTip Angels Tailgate Party Promotes Networking

The Orange Chamber of Commerce and LeTip will be holding a joint tailgate party at Angels Stadium of Anaheim on August 18 - Texas Rangers vs. Angels, 2011 beginning at 5:00 p.m.

The party will feature food from local restaurants. After the party, the attendees will get to enjoy the game - Angels verses Seattle Mariners. Game tickets include a drink, hot dog and hat.

Cost to attend the tailgate party and game is $30 for Orange Chamber of Commerce members and $40 for non-members.
