Back to the basics...and having fun!

My first serious audio system was a Fisher X-100C (C for tubes) integrated amp, AR turntable, and AR 4 speakers.

I have incredibly fond memories of the pleasure I derived when playing records back then- Stan Getz on Verve and a handful of other early stereo recordings. Fast forward fifty plus years and guess what?  Vinyl is making a comeback and once again I'm enjoying my music played through a tube integrated amp.  Only this time it is a Prima Luna Dialogue One with KT88's, through a pair of Totem Rainmakers.  The depth, image, and musicality is amazing.

I have helped design many sound systems over the years, and even when working for a top local integrator, I always included a 2-channel listening area.  As profitability on the video and control side gets more challenging, high-end audio still provdes a great opportunity.  From regenerated AC and Remote Web Management, from PS Audio to electronics, from Prima Luna and Bryston (new headphone amp),
you can associate with those few manufacturers that are in this business for the right reason- to provide a superior experience. Companies run by engineeres, not accountants.

Consistently refining Digital...

PS Audio has been in the digital world for many years now.  They have consistently and diligently fine-tuned the quality in the Conversion and streaming of digital content.  As hi-def content moves away from shiny discs and towards servers (both LAN and WAN), the steaming and processing becomes a major link in how we listen to music today.

PS Audio is having a price increase December 1, 2011.  All manufacturing is in Boulder, Colorado.

Where it all begins...

Incoming AC is typically a crap shoot at best.  Cleaner, lower distortion power yields better performance and longevity. PS Audio invented "power regeneration", providing a pure and perfect foundation.  This regeneration should be the basis for every AV system sold.
