Greetings!
We are an optimistic bunch at the SBAC. However, even we have been surprised by the early success of our partnership with Office Depot. Many SBAC members have joined the program, placed orders and have already enjoyed significant savings.
We continue to move forward with our health insurance program and are preparing to provide you a status at our November 20th forum. Our office sharing program also grows more robust, with new participating offices in Schaumburg and Chicago. We also continue to pride ourselves on connecting and fostering business relationships between SBAC members.
If you are not a member and would like to talk with some folks that are growing their businesses through the SBAC, call me and I can provide you with as many references as you would like. Here is your SBAC update. |

Office Depot Program Provides Competitive Advantage
Through the power of critical mass, and with an emphasis on the quality of the businesses and professionals in our organization, the SBAC has negotiated deep discounts from Office Depot. Indeed, all SBAC members are eligible to receive discounts of between 15%-30% off the lowest retail prices Office Depot offers. If these discounts are not lower than the prices you are presently paying for office supplies, you can contact us and we will put you in touch Brian Axelrood. Brian is our Territory Development Manager and has the discretion to provide deeper discounts. To sign up simply go to SBAC Office Supplies Discount Program and sign up! Registration only takes a minute and you will be able to start placing orders online within 24 hours.
You will also receive a Discount Membership Card in the mail within a couple of weeks of registration. Until you receive your discount card in the mail, simply contact Brian Axelrood at (630) 653-2595.
Brian will contact your preferred Office Depot location, making sure that members are able to take advantage of all the discounts available through this program.

Mini-Meetings
Our happy hours are a great place to meet and mingle with business owners and professionals. The SBAC also plans a number of "mini-meetings" each month. At these meetings, between five and twelve SBAC members get together for breakfast or cocktails. These smaller gatherings allow our members to relax, get to know one another and talk shop. Given their popularity, our membership committee will be increasing the number of mini-meetings scheduled each month.
Michael Cavanuagh, of Know Your Options, Inc., and Joe Demarco, of DeMarco Sciaccotta, LLP, are the co-chairs of our membership committee. SBAC members can contact us in the event that there are particular members they would like to meet or talk with at a mini-meeting. You will receive an e-mail invitation to these smaller gatherings. That e-mail will introduce everyone and give a very brief description of each members' business.
The SBAC's goal is help your business grow despite these difficult economic times. Mini-meetings are yet another arrow in our quiver. |
