Advocacy
At our recent policy meeting, the SBAC members
in
attendance (over25) supported the drafting of a petition that would: - Stress that the lending crises has
caused extreme hardship for small businesses and that this situation
must be
urgently addressed
-
Aggressively move the government to make returned TARP money
available to small business owners and demand that financial institutions
receiving these funds loan them to small business.
We will have language for this petition drafted
by our May
22nd candidate forum. However, feel free to contact me directly with
any thoughts or suggestions on the petition.

SBAC Recent Blog Highlights
The SBAC Blog last week posted the following two articles that we feel are a must-read for small business owners. The articles covered 10 Tax Breaks For Small Businesses and
Health
Care Reform Tax Breaks.
We encourage our members to give them a read.
