Start the new year off on the RIGHT  FOOT! Join the St. Louis Hoofers' Oklahoma City Chapter. This is a professional tap training company directed by Professor Robert L. Reed, touted as one of the best tap instructors  in the world!!

 

Open to dancers of all ages! The company will learn many repertory routines, working on musicality, tap history, style, tonality, dynamic and rhythmic shading as well as improvisation. Additional skills to be learned include cane work, working with musicians and stage presence. Singing, playing an instrument or acrobatics is a plus!! 

 

Stage shows as well as local, national and international tap festivals will be attended frequently.

 

 

 

Requirements:

*Have a L.O.V.E for tap! 

*Attend 2 group classes per week with Robert L. Reed

*Must attend company class every Friday from 4pm-6pm at the Everything Goes Dance Studio. *Note: If company class is missed a private class is mandatory at $75 per hour.

 *Must attend the St. Louis Tap festival July 25-30 2011 (VERY SPECIAL RATE FOR ST. LOUIS HOOFERS CLUB)

 

 

Tuition for Friday's Hoofers class: $125.00 per month

Logan danced in the Duisburg, Germany Tap festival 2001 and 2004. He also won the first round with three other young Hoofers in Star Search !

 

MaKenna would travel two hours to OKC to study with Prof. Reed. All of her hard work paid off by performing  in the famous

Heidelberger Steptanz-Festival!

The St. Louis Hoofer's Club continues with a COPASETIC 2011!  

In February 22, 2002 we honored nine of tap's greatest at OKCU's Honorary Doctorate program.    Cholly Atkins, Bunny Briggs, Buster Brown, Jeni LeGon, Henry LeTang, Fayard Nicholas, Leonard Reed, Jimmy Slyde and Prince Spencer each received honorary Doctorate of Performing Arts degrees.
