Greetings!

Thank you for participating in the "Mental Gymnastics" challenge in this month's WarehouseTWO e-Newsletter.  Here are the results...
The Challenge
Once upon a time, hardly anyone wore bike helmets, skateboards were wooden boards with metal wheels and parents bought toys that could seriously hurt a child.  Ah, the good old days!

Identify the dangerous toys shown below.

The Correct Answers

  1. Kenner "Easy-Bake Oven" (learn more here)
  2. "Jarts" lawn darts (learn more here
  3. Mattel "Creepy Crawlers" (learn more here
  4. "Clackers" (learn more here
  5. "Pogo Ball" ("Lolo Ball" and other brand names were accepted; learn more here)
  6. "Bucky Balls" (learn more here)
Some of you may have misunderstood the challenge.  All of the toys shown are known to be dangerous.  The challenge was to identify each toy, not to identify which toys were dangerous.  We apologize if the wording of the challenge was not clearer.

We loved the comments we received about dangerous childhoods.  Our two favorites:

"When I was growing up we would hold our .22 rifles across the handlebars of our bikes as we traveled thru town to get to a friend's farm to have some fun target practicing.  I don't see any of that done nowadays."

"We played with everything and did not go home unless we were bleeding profusely. Then we got patched up and went back out."
