ANUSARA 101

Dive fully into the basic language and practice of Anusara's Universal Principles of Alignment. For those new to yoga, new to Anusara, or for ongoing students who want to learn more.

HANDSTAND SERIES WITH RAINEY

August 13 & 14

Rainey, aka the Handstand Goddess, will start with basics and take you all the way to press up and balance. Basic prerequisite: arms and a burning desire to get up into handstand!

Revelation

"It is because God is so constant that we forget."

The mystics say we live behind a veil
Concealing us from the expanded vision
That is our birthright.

It seems this spacious state of being,
Is shy in the face of human eyes,
And reveals itself only in non-ordinary moments:
Childbirth, Physical Ecstasy, Parting Forever.

Perhaps we have to climb the mountains
Of dedication, devotion, faith, trust,
With more passionate eagerness
Than we have summoned until now.

Daily life consumes us,
One day we realize time is not endless.
We murmur to our friends, "Life is short."

"So short, so quick," they say.
Time to point your little boat
Of life into deeper waters,
Climb higher in the mountains,

Courageously,
Invite the mists to part.

Up here where the oxygen is thin,
Words become tiny and get lost,
No more use for words,
They have pointed the way,

To something inexpressible, uncontainable,
Our paltry word LOVE
Is a shadow of it.

Our human hearts were created to hold it
In abundance
Without breaking.
