The Heart of Inspiration
A Week of Anusara Yoga in Molokai, Hawaii

with Denise Benitez
April 25-May 1, 2010

PRICE DRASTICALLY REDUCED!

Dear Seattle Yoga Arts Students and Friends:
As April rapidly approaches, I want to remind you about my Anusara Yoga Retreat in Molokai, Hawaii.  I have reduced prices drastically to encourage registration; a Standard Room in the Lodge, which you will share with 2 to 4 people, is now only $999.   A Deluxe Room, which is a private cabin on the property, is now only $1200.  Airfare to Molokai is available right now at very good spring prices: $400 round trip Seattle to Honolulu, plus  about $130 round trip to Molokai.
Non yoga partners are welcome, as are children.  Why not take the kids out of school for a week, and enjoy a once in a lifetime experience on Molokai, the most quiet, and truly Hawaiian of all the islands?

THE CENTER
Hui Ho'olana Retreat Center came together with the help of many; in 1989, this former hunting lodge was turned into a teaching facility.  Perched at 1300' on a hill called Pu'u Kolea, the Center is located on 75 acres in central Molokai.  Cool breezes waft across the property; the main lodge is completely secluded, surrounded by fruit trees, plenty of open lawn and hundreds of acres of ranch lands.  The Center's intention is to find efficient ways of being environmentally conscious in everything they do.  Hui Ho'olana is a non-profit, so your attendance at this retreat supports their mission of practicing what the Hawaiians call ho'oponopono -- "making things right."

MEALS
Meals are vegetarian with optional local fresh fish.  Organic foods, some grown on the property, are used whenver possible.  The Center grinds its own flour, makes their own breads and are known for their fabulous salads and delicious, healthy cuisine.  Meals at Hui Ho'olana will be a highlight of your stay!

YOGA
Denise Benitez is the founder of Seattle Yoga Arts; she has studied and practice yoga since 1973, has taught since 1987, and is a certified Anusara teacher.  She is known as a teacher of "gentle strength," who encourages her students to experience deeply and with great awareness and compassion.  Her teaching arises from a lifetime of investigation into creating nourishing, meaningful movement.
Classes will be held in the beautiful and sacred yurt on the property (photo above).  You will enjoy two Anusara yoga classes a day as well as guided morning and evening meditation.  Since the group will be small, you will receive individual guidance in your practice, and the classes will meet the needs of both beginning and more advanced students.  Wednesday will be a free day to explore the island or participate in a snorkeling excursion!
