THE SWELL OF SPIRIT in Mexico with Elizabeth Rainey, April 3-10

Join Rainey on the Pacific Coast of Mexico at Harmara Retreat in Sayulita.  Haramara offers a tranquil, secluded and beautiful setting in which to delve into yoga and nature.  The yoga space is an open-air palapa with 360-degree views of the ocean and rain forest.  Accommodations are simple and elegant cabanas with private bathrooms which include open air showers.  The meals are primarily vegetarian with local seafood.

Each day includes two yoga sessions which explore the power of asana, pranayama, and meditation, three delicious meals and time to explore the splendor of the local area.  Open to all levels, non-yoga partners and children welcome.

DETAILS: Prices range from $2490 for a single casita to $1375 for the dormitory.  Contact Rainey for more information and to register at ElizabethRainey.com.  See more about Haramara at haramararetreat.com.

THE HEART OF INSPIRATION in Hawaii with Denise Benitez, April 24-May 1

Join Denise on the quiet Hawaiian island of Molokai at Hui Ho'olana Retreat.  Molokai is the birthplace of the hula and the sacred island where Hawaiians sent their shamans for training.  It is a peaceful and deeply spiritual island.  Hui Ho'olana Retreat Center's intention is to be environmentally responsible in everything they do, including growing their own organic fruits and vegetables.  Hui Ho'olana is a non-profit, so your attendance at this retreat supports the owners' mission of practicing what the Hawaiians call ho'oponopono - "making things right."

Each day offers two yoga sessions in the graceful circular yoga hall, three scrumptious meals, and time to soak in the pool, hike along the highest sea cliffs in the world (5 minutes away), or take a short drive to quiet, secluded beaches.  Or, you may choose to spend your non-yoga hours lazing in the hammock under the palm trees.  Open to all levels, non-yoga partners and children welcome.

DETAILS: Prices are $1400 for a standard room (in the newly renovated lodge), or $1600 for a  private cabin on the property.  Contact Seattle Yoga Arts for more information at SeattleYogaArts.com.  See more about Hui Ho'olana at huiho.org.
